The Supreme Court of Cassation is the highest court in the Republic of Serbia. It began to operate on 1 January 2010. Ever since 2010 the seat of the Supreme Court has been in the state authorities’ building in Nemanjina 9 in Belgrade. As of 1 July 2014, the Court has 36 elected judges of the Supreme Court of Cassation, counting the President, and the judicial staff consists of 199 employees of which 6 are appointed civil servants, 40 are judicial assistants - advisors to the Supreme Court of Cassation, while others are civil servants and state employees who perform IT, accounting, technical, administrative and other supporting activities essential to the successful functioning of the Court.Read more
