Jurisdiction of courts

Jurisdiction of the courts is determined by the Constitution and the law. The law stipulates that a court may not decline to act and decide on matters under its jurisdiction, but can declare itself incompetent in during the entire course of the proceedings if it establishes that another authority is competent for the resolution of the dispute. During the entire course of proceedings, the court is obliged to takes care, ex officio, that the dispute resolution falls within its jurisdiction. The composition of a court is determined by law, depending on the jurisdiction of the court and the type of matter.
